Wheat Leather Interiors

The wheat leather looks great, but does it stay relatively clean? The one I test drove looked pretty dirty. Is it easy to clean?

I love the Wheat interior. I have had my EX for 5 months now. The seats have remained clean. The only issue I have had is with the floor mats. I have had to pull them out twice now to clean them with Resolve (carpet cleaner).

I've had mine with Wheat interior for 3 months. Like any lighter colour interior, it is harder to keep clean, but I've found that stains wipe off quite readily. I've had blood, ink, oil and normal dirt ... all of which came off easily.

I agree with DalRock that the floor mats do get dirty quickly. However, they've also been very good with respect to cleanup. So far, no stains have really set on the floor mats.

Does anyone know if Scotchguard has been applied to the interior carpeting of the EX from the factory?

It's good to hear the leather holds up. What do you clean it with? Anything special?

OK, my bad ... I have the stone interior, not wheat (duh!), but it's just as light-coloured.

I've cleaned mine with Lexol Leather Cleaner (which I had from our leather furniture) and also Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Wipes; the latter are moist wipes impregnated with some "secret" formula.

Both have worked well.

Cheers,
David

If you want a light colour for your interiors then you need to clean regularly. It becomes a high maintanence job.Ya you can clean them easily.
