Infiniti EX35 New parking Aid
TOKYO — Nissan Motor Co. is rolling out a parking aid that means bye-bye to blind spots.
Instead of using cameras on the car's rear to show blind spots, the new system puts ultrawide-angle cameras on all sides of the vehicle. The onboard computer then uses those images to synthesize a bird's-eye view of the car. ![]() The aerial view can be seen in color on the instrument panel to help a driver squeeze into a tight parking space. To keep the driver on course, sonar sensors set off alarm beeps when things get dicey. The technology will hit the market in Japan first. It will be introduced this month in the Elgrand luxury van. It will be offered in the United States in December with the launch of the Infiniti EX35. Courtesy Automotive news
