New Owner

Had my platinum silver AWD EX for 2 weeks and love it. I have had several neighbors stop by and mention that they had been online looking at and pricing the EX. My last Infinitis were a 1991 M30 and a 1993 J30 and both were great cars. The site is great and I look forward to learning the new car as a group.

Welcome to the site! They still don't have much of a selection here in the Mid West but that's nothing strange for Kansas.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago and absolutely in love!!! It seems like I'm the only one is my entire city to have one. I live in Los Angeles so I doubt it but I have yet to see another one. Do you have the same things in your area? I love getting the double takes. Its quick and so fun to drive! But I'm struggling with the downloading to Music Box. Is there a method to speed up the burn process from CD to harddrive?

Hi and welcome.

Recording songs
1. Operate the audio system to play a CD.
2. Select the RECº key using the INFINITI
controller and push the ENTER button.
The system starts recording the track being
played and REC CD appears on the screen.
If the title information of the track being recorded
is stored either in the hard-disk drive or
in the CD, the title is automatically displayed on
the screen. For title acquisition from the harddisk
drive, music recognition technology and
related data are provided by GracenoteT.
To view the details of the track, select the Text
key by touching the screen or using the INFINITI
controller. The track name and album title are
displayed on the screen.
If a track is not recorded successfully due to
skipping sounds, the mark is displayed
behind the track number.

Automatic recording :
If the Automatic Recording function is turned
to ON, recording starts when a CD is inserted.
Stopping recording :

To stop the recording, select the
STOP button

by touching the screen or using the INFINITI

controller.

If the CD is ejected, the audio system is turned

off or the ignition switch is pushed to the OFF

position, the recording also stops.

You can find all of the above and more in the PDF below. Chapter 4.

My wife leased her EX35 Premium AWD in March. We wanted the dark currant with chestnut interior with roof rack, but they couldn't get one for a while. We got the scarlet silver with chestnut interior instead. We replaced our Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 AWD for something (a lot) smaller and we are glad. The MPG didn't increase much, but the car based SUV is much more easy to drive in town. We currently get an average 19 MPG. Our first road trip will be in June to Amelia Island, so we have more time in the EX35 to report later

I feel the same way Gigi, I live south of Boston. I commute into the city three days a week. I have had my car since January and have yet to see another one. I think I see one up ahead and it turns out to be an FX. I also love the double takes and stares. Got a thumbs up the other day. Also, I have been putting 98 octane in the tank now, have experienced no problems, does seem less spirited

I assume you meant 89 octane (or was it 87)?
