New Member, New EX35 Owner

My wife and I spent Months looking at new vehicles. Our 9 year old i30 was getting tired, it was time for a new vehicle. We looked at BMW 3 and 1 Series, the VW Jetta, VW CC, Infiniti G37, Lexus IS and finally bought the EX35. It was the only one that my wife and I both agreed too, It was easy for both of us to get into and out of, It was the only one that had a interior that we both liked and offered all the features we wanted at a price we could live with. We purchased the car two weeks ago, last week someone put a small scratch in our fender, three days later, it was gone, just amazing. My wife and I are empty nesters, the EX just fits our needs. It also fits our small garage, the sonar system helps us park. I have had freinds in the car business tell me they are amazed at the features and the value.

We purchased a 2009 RWD Journey with Navigation, camera system, bluetooth, luxury package, rear bumper protection plate, rear mat and crossbars. My other car is a Corvette, I have an appreciation for cars that perform and handle.

Thumbs up Welcome!

Welcome to the forum, Scott, and thanks for introducing yourself!!

When you say you have the "camera system", do you mean you have the AVM (Around View Monitor) or the Backup Camera?

We have the AVM Camera System, it really helps with our small garage. We just love the car. Everytime I show someone the car they fall in love. I have also noticed that the EX35's are selling better, The dealer that sold me mine has sold 4 in the last month, I think that pretty good.

I agree that the AVM is fantastic and use it practically every day! On the flip-side, rearward visibility is so poor that backing up without it is a scary proposition!!
