Yep - have to buy the Premium package to get the Bi-Xenons with AFS. The G is in a more competitive segment and provides better value for sure.

Still, I'm enjoying my EX, especially the AVM!

ASF Blinking

Had my EX for 3 weeks and a tire damaged my headlight. Had to have replaced and now the ASF light is blinking. Does anyone know how to stop it?

Hey shadow ... check pages 2-17 and 2-35 of the manual. I'm guessing a trip to the dealer is needed.

We test drove the G35x too. Was it me, but I felt like we sat lower to the ground than the BMW 328xi and IS350? I didn't like the fact that it felt like we had to look over the hood and sat behind the engine. Things that we didn't feel in the EX35. My best guess is that the seating is different. It was too much of a change going from an SUV to the G, so the EX was a good middle ground.

I drove the G35X also, but I need the hatch to carry my son's goalie equipment. The trunk opening on the G was just too small, even though I would have preferred a stick to an auto-box.

No regrets, though - really enjoying the EX, especially how smooth and refined it is. I did get the Tech package for the AVM and find it indispensible, but must confess I completely disable the LDW/LDP.
