My wife has the EX35 and our third vehicle is a Toyota Tacoma. I want to trade in my JGC for something else, smaller and fun to drive. I'm thinking like a '07 Mini Cooper S or Civic SI sedan. What do you guys think? Both get average 27-32 MPG and accelerate in less than 7 seconds. They are fun and reliable. Any opinions and options?
If i had the money, I'd get a BMW 135i, but another $40k would hurt.

Both the Mini Cooper S or Civic SI sedan are good options. Take a look at the MazdaSpeed 3. Also, the Mitsubishi Eclipse, they have both a six and four cylinder model. A two door sporty coupe, although American made, is the Chevy Cobalt SS. It does 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. Average fuel economy is 26 mpg's. It is highly rated in this months R&T. It has a 2.0 liter turbocharged ecotec engine, front wheel drive. Good luck, let us know what you decide on.
