There is a person in another car forum finding a leaky moonroof on their EX35 and on their loaner EX. They state that another owner is experiencing the same problem too. This hasn't been confirmed by any other member I interact with, so it could be a unique problem, batch problem, or the guy doesn't know how to operate the moonroof.
The reason why I'm posting this is that moonroofs are notorious for improper seating and problems. My EX35 is always garaged and I've been through a carwash with no leaks. I'd hate for the nice interior of one of our new EX35 to get drenched

Well, it is not an isolated problem. In fact it is a major problem, as demonstrated by my dealership:
My 3 week old EX35 leaks too. It dosen't take the power of a car wash either. It leaks when it rains or when I hand wash the car. The headliner and the sliding roof cover become very wet, and if driving, the the water actually hits the driver and passenger. Yes, it actually rains inside my brand new EX!
I took it to the dealer and they confirmed it as a problem. They wet the roof and the saw for themselves just how wet the interior becomes.
I go the car back last night. They replaced the sunroof. It rained a few hours later and guess what? Soaked! The headliner, the sliding cover for the sunroof too. I went right back to the dealer. When sprayed with a hose, it literally "sprays" in. They said this is the way it's designed. In other words, I am simply out of luck. I called Infiniti and now have an incident number. A rep is supposed to call me to figure out what can be done.
I just find it hard to believe that getting rained on inside your vehicle is considered normal. And what about mold, water stains etc.? Not to mention the winter with freezing.
